심벌은 본질적으로 동일한 소리를 완전히 재현할 수 없는 악기라는 사실을 알고나서 저는 일률적인 소리를 목표로 삼기보다 각 심벌이 저마다의 매력적인 소리를 지니도록 제작하는 데 

집중해 왔습니다. 자연은 결코 같은 소리를 반복하지 않듯, 심벌 역시 하나하나 고유한 울림을 갖는 것이 자연스럽다고 생각합니다. 그래서 제작 과정에서 자연의 풍경과 소리에서 영감을 

얻고, 그 감각을 심벌의 울림 안에 담아내고자 합니다. 연주자가 심벌을 연주할 때, 그리고 그 소리를 듣는 청중에게까지 제가 영감받은 자연의 경관과 분위기가 자연스럽게 전달되기를 

바라는 마음으로 심벌을 만들고 있습니다.

After realizing that cymbals are instruments whose sound can never be reproduced in exactly the same way, I chose to focus not on creating uniform sounds, but on crafting cymbals that each possess their own distinct and compelling voice. Just as nature never repeats the same sound, 

I believe it is natural for each cymbal to carry a unique resonance of its own. Drawing inspiration from natural landscapes and sounds, 

I strive to embed those impressions into the character of each cymbal. When a cymbal is played, it is my hope that the natural scenery and 

atmosphere that inspired its creation are conveyed not only to the performer, but also to the audience who listens to its sound.
